This was a wedding like no other. I started early with Keri’s preparation, which was at home, then the ceremony at a quaint little church in Camperdown followed by a lunch and creative shoot at Gwahumbe Game Reserve. It wasn’t just any lunch, because the venue for the lunch was a cave. That’s not a typo, it was in a cave. The entire bridal party including guests went on a fun and bumpy ride on the back of a Unimog to get there. It was a lunch of cold meat, cheeses, etc. There were a few speeches and that was that. Just before sunset we headed off to find the light for the creative shoot, and we weren’t disappointed. We had a magnificent sunset.
Good photography was clearly important to Barry and Keri because even though it was their own wedding, they were taking photos and videos themselves too. It was a great day, congratulations Barry and Keri, thanks for choosing me to be a part of it!
