Marnus & Marlize Engagement – Umhlanga

Marnus and Marlize live in Ermelo, but they’re getting married here in KZN early next year at Collisheen Estate in Ballito. They stayed the long weekend in Umhlanga so they decided it would be a good idea to have their engagement photos done at the same time. I was hoping we were going to have a lovely golden sunset, but as the day drew closer it looked more like we were in for rain. I set about scouting some indoor locations for the shoot, but on the day it was clear that wasn’t going to happen either. Marnus and Marlize were a little camera shy at first, so we decided it would be best to just head down to the beach and have fun. The best photos happen when they’re unposed, so that’s exactly what I aimed to do.
