Marnus & Marlize – Collisheen Estate

I was watching the weather closely leading up to Marnus & Marlize’s big day, because it seems that every time I shoot at Collisheen, we never get a golden sunset. Unfortunately Marnus & Marlize’s wedding continued the tradition, the sunset didn’t pitch which meant I had to work with the environment and surroundings a lot more during the creative shoot. Marlize broke her ring finger a few days before the wedding, so during the exchange of rings it had to go on a different finger. Regardless of these small issues, it was a magical day of love, family and togetherness. For some reason I suspected that the dance floor was going to be relatively conservative, but I was dead wrong. Together with their guests they had a party of note, DJ Benny from The Wedding DJ insured the dance floor was rocking all night. I was getting such great shots that I didn’t want to leave.
