Shawn & Megan’s intimate wedding was so chilled that I was the only one wearing shoes. I made my way to Umtamvuna River Lodge early to make sure I could get all the setting up and take enough shots around the venue, it was a wonderful sunny morning and it was so hot that I broke my first sweat of the day within 10 steps of getting out the car. Shawn fancied a round of golf with his mates on the morning of the wedding, while Megan and co were at the venue seeing to last minute details and getting ready.
I was glad that Megan & Shawn didn’t book the boat ride for their creative shoot, it takes a lot of time to get down the river to the beach and back. We did the creative shoot in the gardens of the venue and I think it turned out great.
