David and Cassandra live in Wales but came to South Africa to get married, Cassandra is originally from SA but David is a true Welshman. It was a pleasure shooting their wedding and meeting their guests who came from all over the world to share in their big day. Cathedral Peak was as breathtaking as ever, the weather was perfect and we had plenty of time to do our photo shoot.
I never noticed this on the day of David and Cas’s wedding, but while I was editing the photos I realised that Cas has a resemblance to a young Princess Diana. David also has a striking resemblance to a friend of mine who’s name is also Dave. How peculiar. In a way I kind of felt like I already knew them, which made the day all the more easy and pleasurable to shoot. Cas told me she had been following my blog leading up to their big day, it’s always nice to know things like that because the couples who are enthusiastic about the photos are the one’s who get the best pictures.
