Richard and Tatum were the wonderful couple whose engagement shoot we did on a misty morning in Summerveld a few months back. Richard is a graphic designer, which is what I was before I started doing photography full time, and Tatum works in public relations. Their wedding arrived and it it was a perfect day of clear skies, family and a big celebration. The Zimbali beach is always a stunning in that it’s flat, secluded and sheltered which is perfect for a wedding ceremony. The sun always sets over the hill at the exact right time of day too.
One of the real highlights of the wedding for me was hearing a song which Tatum had recorded in a studio prior to the wedding, it was called ‘I Adore You’ and it brought tears to the eyes of everyone in the room followed by a standing ovation. John Roux from The Wedding DJ was on the decks to make sure the party didn’t stop. It was great being at Rich & Tee’s wedding and playing my part in making it the success that it was.
