On the 10 February 2014 I received an email from a bride-to-be named Lauren who said she was getting married in March 2015 in Muldersdrift, Gauteng. The venue was going to be Memoire which is known as one of South Africa’s top wedding venues. I replied to her email not really expecting to be booked, but to my surprise she replied saying that she had seen the photos from another wedding I had done for some friends of hers in the KZN Midlands, and that she didn’t want any other photographer. I was quite flattered, thanks so much Lauren.
It was wonderful to shoot for a couple who were really amped for good photos. We had an excellent time doing the creative photo shoot, with groomsmen all involved and helping out. Lauren is softly spoken with an infectious laugh and keen for all things creative, Rann is a go-getter who is both humble and confident simultaneously. The ceremony was emotional, light hearted and fun. The décor was classic and elegant.
