This event was quite a big deal, it was televised and there were a lot of VIP’s in attendance including the finance minister Pravin Gordhan, FNB CEO Michael Jordaan and others. The president was invited but declined to attend. Loyiso and two of his friends provided the entertainment. At the end of the evening I had to hand over the images straight away to be published the following morning in newspapers and news websites, I wonder if any of those publications gave credit to the photographer.

It was a pleasure to shoot at a big event like this and I’m looking forward to the next one.
