Vijesh & Himarsha’s wedding started off with a morning traditional Hindu ceremony, followed by a lunch at the Orchid House venue at Collisheen. In the afternoon we did the creative shoot in the gardens, afterwards they got changed into western evening wear and had a reception at the Boma which carried on late into the night. The Boma is the bigger venue at Collisheen, decked out with coloured lights and a big dance floor. I’ve shot many parties at that venue, all of them very different but all just as special and meaningful.
I worked alongside South African photographers named Meyer & Rene, who divide their time between Bloemfontein and the UK. There was also a camera crew from Mela which is an SABC Eastern magazine show. Congratulations Vijesh & Himarsha.
